The ST4Health Master's program is at the heart of training initiatives for innovation in healthcare at PSL University, a member of PariSanté Campus. Affiliated with PSL's Engineering (ISAI) and Life Sciences graduate programs, the ST4Health Master's degree offers internationally-oriented training through research, fully accessible in English. The program is aimed at students having diverse backgrounds (physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, computer science, mathematics, medicine, pharmacy and other health sciences).

Multidisciplinarity & Education

The ST4Health Master's program offers training through research, promoting interdisciplinarity and student initiative. The pedagogy, the studied concepts and problems are highly multidisciplinary. The program draws on the extremely rich and complementary expertise and know-how of PSL establishments involved in the healthcare field.

Three specialization tracks address major challenges in healthcare innovation: biomaterials and engineering for health (BEH), artificial intelligence and digital health (AIH), digital mental health (DMH).

Pedagogical team

Courses are designed and coordinated by researchers and teacher-researchers from PSL teams conducting research at the interface between science, engineering and health. Guest lecturers include hospital practitioners (AP-HP), researchers from other schools and universities, and representatives of public institutions and private companies.

Locations

Most courses are taught in Paris, mainly at the PariSanté Campus and ESPCI Paris - PSL sites. The program includes two two-month internships (or a single four-month internship, if abroad) in M1, and a five- to six-month research internship in M2. These internships are validated by the course leaders and generally take place in academic research laboratories, but also in the R&D departments of major companies, biomedical start-ups or hospitals.
